Deena Goldwater MD, Cardiology/Cardiovascular Disease, Geriatric Medicine

Dr. Deena Goldwater is an attending cardiologist and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She has a joint appointment in the departments of Cardiology and Geriatrics and has established a geriatric cardiology outpatient clinic at UCLA. Her research is focused on the impact of aging-associated conditions on resilience potential in the face of cardiovacular disease. Her goal is to identify modifiable biomarkers to be used as intervention targets to improve resilience and optimize quality of life.
