About
Dr. Dina Kamel is a general endocrinologist who practices in Burbank and Pasadena. While she sees patients with all sorts of endocrine and hormone disorders, she has a clinical interest in diabetes, pituitary and thyroid disorders. She believes in educating her patients about their medical conditions so that they can weigh in and help make decisions about their care.
Dr. Kamel was born in Egypt and raised in Los Angeles, where she remained throughout her medical education and training. She earned her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship training at the University of Southern California. She received her bachelor's degree from Occidental College, where she majored in biology and minored in Spanish literature.
Dr. Kamel is a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Thyroid Association and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
She is fluent in Arabic and Spanish, and when she's not working, enjoys international travel and learning new languages.

The Dr seemed rushed. The Dr was not prepared with my information and skimmed through my records very quickly with me on the video call. She spoke very fast and didn’t create an environment of care, rather that I was some patient to get through on her checklist. I was a last minute squeeze in. Not only did I show up with no paperwork she was very patient with me. I described my symptoms and she immediately knew what was wrong with me. She still ordered full labs, even an eye exam just to be sure. Very knowledgeable and kind. Explained my medicine and symptoms. Told me to stay in contact through messages while I see her again. Which to me was everything.
