First time meeting this Doctor. He was amazing!!!!!! Patient, knowledgeable and so so so friendly and made the experience one of the best I’ve had at UCLA. He allowed me to speak at length about my situation, never interrupted me, type as fast as a I was talking and expanded upon the topics with such care and ease. What a great personable manner he has with new patients. Unreal!

I came in for a bladder infection and saw a new doctor, Dr. Felyx Avanesyan, that I like very much. I usually like doctors who are a bit older, but he was kind, respectful, explained things carefully, and made me feel taken care of! Excellent visit.

Dr. Avanesyan is very kind and did a brief exam of my sprained finger before ordering an X-ray. I?m giving 4 stars because after the exam, he didn?t guide me on next steps on how to get the X-ray. He was about to walk out the door when I asked him what to do next and where to go. Not sure if a nurse was going to come in and take me, but that was confusing and unclear. Also, he didn?t explain what happens after the X-ray. I thought I was going to see him to review the X-ray, but then he explained what was next only after I asked. It would have been nice to know the protocol instead of having to continually ask. If a nurse was going to come in and explain it all to me, then just having the doctor explain that would have been helpful, ?Nurse xxx will be in to bring you to the X-ray area and explain next steps, but we are finished with the exam for today?
