Dr. George Rudkin is a Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at UCLA and a Board-certified Plastic Surgeon.

Dr. Rudkin has been a UCLA faculty member since 1999. He serves as the program director for the UCLA plastic surgery training program. In addition, he is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at the West Los Angeles Veteran Association Medical Center.

Dr. Rudkin has clinical interests in gender affirmation surgery, skin cancer treatment and reconstruction, and nasal reconstruction. Dr. Rudkin has been widely published in peer-reviewed publications. He received the Veterans Administration Career Development Award for his work on the effects of retinoids on skin cancer, and has been a co-investigator for a VA Merit Review grant studying bone formation in a three dimensional cellular scaffold.

Dr. Rudkin earned his bachelor’s degree from John Hopkins University and his medical degree from Columbia University. He completed residencies in general surgery and plastic surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
