About
Dr. Hussam Mawari is a board-certified family physician who provides comprehensive outpatient care to patients of all ages at UCLA Health in Malibu, California. He enjoys building long-term relationships with his patients and helping them manage chronic conditions through practical, evidence-based care that supports their overall well-being.
Dr. Mawari earned his medical degree from Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine Residency at Michigan State University’s Alma Family Medicine Residency Program, where he cared for individuals and families across a wide range of ages and medical needs. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan–Dearborn.
Originally from Michigan, Dr. Mawari is grateful to now call Southern California home. Outside of medicine, he enjoys basketball, weightlifting, running, swimming at the beach, traveling, and learning about nutrition. He values staying active and spending time outdoors as part of a balanced lifestyle.
