Jasmine L. Mitchell, MD

Dr. Jasmine Mitchell is a medical oncologist and hematologist who practices in Santa Monica and Porter Ranch. She provides care to patients with all types of cancer and blood disorders in Porter Ranch and specializes in the gastrointestinal cancers in Santa Monica. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Mitchell is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine and has academic interests in gastrointestinal oncology clinical trials.

Dr. Mitchell earned her M.D. at Sidney Kimmel Medical College (formerly Jefferson Medical College) in Philadelphia. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Loma Linda University Health and Hematology/Oncology fellowship at UCLA. Dr. Mitchell received her undergraduate degree in Biology, with minors in theatre and French, at UC San Diego. She subsequently completed her master's degree in the medical sciences at New York Medical College. Dr. Mitchell is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology and the American College of Physicians. She is a recipient of the Robert A. Winn Diversity in Clinical Trials career development award which supports her research in the gastrointestinal cancers. She was born and raised on the west side of Los Angeles and is happy to be serving her hometown community.
