He’s the ideal doctor: he remembers things we’ve talked about, he knows me as a person and not just a number, he’s non-judgmental in questions and treatment, and he always comes to my physical with a summary of past stuff and “here’s what we focus on at this age.” I trust him.

Dr. Goldsmith is patient and thorough and remembers details that even I don’t. He also has a straightforward way of communicating that feels trustworthy and a kindly demeanor that feels caring. Excellent experience as always. He is always exceptionally well prepared. He is up to date on my other doctor visits, exams, tests, labs, etc. He helpfully summarizes these to make sure that I understand it, and to provide context for the day's exam. He specifically called out a lab test that is new to me, explained why it was done, what it checks, what it found, etc. He also added additional lab work to complement and complete the line of inquiry started by my cardiologist. He has excellent bedside manner: calm, professional, personable, understanding and caring, good at listening and encouraging questions, provides helpful tips, is pleasantly upbeat, etc.

The appointment's purpose was to review the results of some tests my doctor ordered for me. He explained those results clearly, and he recommended a medication that could improve my symptoms. I brought my wife with me, and he was completely open about having her in the room. He was excellent.

Dr. Goldsmith is an amazing Dr. I saw him basically as a follow up after I had been in the emergency room for two days with problems with my right knee and tremendous swelling all the way down to my toes. I am in pain and messaged Dr. Goldsmith —he made time to see me right away, which I deeply appreciated. His quick response will allow me to begin treatment and start feeling better soon, hopefully. In my opinion, Dr. Goldsmith is one of the best doctors UCLA has. He has excellent bedside manners, never rushes through appointments, and genuinely cares about my wellbeing. I’m very grateful to have him as my doctor.
