Dr. Chew listened as I shared what the neurosurgeon said to me. She was attentive to all my needs of what is going on after surgery. She was very thorough on follow up therapies. Glad she addressed my thumb trigger finger condition. Grateful for referrals to help with my neck and assessment of OT. Her knowledge of health conditions and guidance and recommendations made sense and I confidence moving forward as the therapy locations have helped me in the past.

Dr. Chew was caring to adjust her schedule to see this morning. I appreciate her flexibility to evaluate me after my recent surgery. I felt relieved and encouraged through her thorough exam. She asked good questions and gave me info she and understanding when there is a surgery and what happens to the body after anesthesia as well as effects of swelling wirh specific pain relief medication. Her response was thorough in working with the surgeon who performed the surgery scheduling a follow up appointment after I complete one with him; to activate other specialist of Home Healthcare for PT, OT and Speech and Swallowing therapy. The need for DME walker to support me on keeping my neck and back straight in recovery helped me appreciate the value and service of coordinated healthcare and forming the team members. I am hopeful coming away from Dr. Chews care today.

Dr. Chew was very thorough in her care for me in view of upcoming surgery. Her questions in listening to my experience of symptoms was very caring and she was understanding of the possible factors to the causes my condition as revealed in the MRI results. She was helpful to direct me the follow up lab work and the available spine Xray at the location. I appreciate her collaboration with other UCLA in seeking consult of a neurosurgeon and it was effective. Her assessment of my body with the different tools was professional he personable. She was keen to caution me on present activities and medications to stop before the surgery and even on the day of surgery. I feel affirmed and hopeful of the care she provides as my primary in relation to the her collegues that is complementary and effective.

Dr. Chew was caring, sensitive, aware of my medical history and current health conditions. She examined me given my concerns with sensations in my feet, legs and forearms. She listened attentively to my efforts of caring for my health in light of two carpal tunnel surgeries. Her assessment and recommendation of next steps to take were thorough. Today was my annual physical. Dr. Chew is without question the best doctor I have ever had. Dr. Chew goes over everything in detail with excellent bedside manner. Any area’s of concern are addressed with practical recommendations for improvement.

I passed out for less than couple of minutes two weeks ago while vacationing. My wife and son took me to emergency room where I stayed for two days without finding concrete evidence Had follow up with Dr. Chew today and after checking all notes and about what happened. She recommended to start wearing a heart monitor for two weeks, also referred me to a cardiologist. Dr Chew is always very caring and attentive, will always use her as my primary doctor!

Dr. CHEW is always sun- shiny and professional at the same time. She usually agrees with me about the course of action on what to do as far as my care. This time happens to be a respiratory infection that I am familiar with, and we both agreed on the medication‘s to continue until this is gone. Her staff is always professional and friendly as well, and always greets patients with a smile and a scale and a blood pressure machine. I am happy to continue with my care with Dr. CHEW as she is an asset to Ucla.

Dr. Chew was receptive, alert and responsive to my condition as I recounted a few health issues I had. She was keen to have a chest xray as she listed es to my lungs and noted my coughing in recent days. She as supportive and instructive to the pre-op visit with her and acknowledged the results of the chest x-rays to share them with me. She affirmed me in my results of lab work and urine analysis. She answered several questions on use of meds as needed and proposed use of natural extract. She cautioned me to address this extract after my surgery. She listened to other concerns and was patient and focused on what needs to be addressed with carpal tunnel.

The office opened timely , I was greeted well and check in was swift. I was called promptly into the exam room with a very short wait in the waiting area. The visit with Dr Chew is as always, comforting, reassuring, and optimistic. She always gives me options with no pressure and really listens to me. She knows what to do and explains why she recommends different things and the expectation.
