John L. Etcheverry, DPM, specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle.

As a Bakersfield native, Dr. Etcheverry's mission is to establish a sound doctor-patient relationship with each patient individually. He feels this relationship is the vital foundation that a successful treatment outcome is built upon.

Dr. Etcheverry obtained his bachelor's degree in biology from Saint Mary's College of California in Moraga, California. He then went on to earn his doctorate of podiatric medicine from California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California.

As a board-certified podiatrist, Dr. Etcheverry's practice is focused on foot surgery as well as reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. He prides himself in remaining at the forefront of foot and ankle advancements and techniques. It is with this advanced education that he strives to treat each patient individually to the best of his ability in order to achieve a successful outcome.

Dr. Etcheverry is a diplomate of the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

In his time away from the office, Dr. Etcheverry enjoys camping, cycling, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife Nanette and their two daughters.
