About
Dr. Jyotsna Sharma is a board-certified general internal medicine physician who practices in Porter Ranch. She prefers to develop long-term relationships with her patients, and to educate them on their medical conditions so that they can make informed decisions about their health. Her clinical interests include preventive care as well as chronic disease management. She is fluent in Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu, and is a clinical instructor at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Sharma received her medical degree from Dayanand Medical College in Ludhiana, India. She then completed her internal medicine residency at UC Riverside, where she was named Resident of the Year in 2018. She also completed a Chief Residency year and worked as a hospitalist at UC Riverside, and received an Exceptional Dedication Award in 2020.
Dr. Sharma was born in India, raised in Canada, and currently lives in the San Fernando Valley. When she’s not working, she enjoys cooking, exploring LA and watching Bollywood movies.
