Kelly is a registered dietitian specializing in gastrointestinal disorders. Her celiac diagnosis in 2014 led her to recognize and understand the impact of diet on health and management of chronic diseases. Kelly completed her master’s degree at California State University, Los Angeles and her internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where she trained at the Celiac Center. Her research interests include diet and IBD as well as dietary impacts and manipulation of the microbiome. Kelly is currently leader-elect for the Disorders of the Brain Gut Interaction Workgroup for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Dietitians in Gastrointestinal Disorders (DIGID) Practice Group.
