About
Dr. Del Portillo graduated from University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature. She attended medical school at University of California, Los Angeles and went on to complete her residency training at UCLA-San Fernando Valley Program in Internal Medicine. Her goal as a physician is to develop strong relationships with her patients so they may work as a team to accomplish the best medical care possible. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, baking and spending time with her husband, who is also a UCLA physician, and her two children.

Dr Del Portillo is great. She’s very thorough, professional and compassionate.

She was 45 minutes late and she didn’t have too much time for me. She didn’t even have time to go over my chart and ask me about my medications. She spent about 5 minutes with me. I want to get another Dr. If I can. One that will spend a little more time with me. This Dr. Is always running late. That’s why I make appointments for a certain time of the day. I have other things to do then sit and wait for her.

Dr Del Portillo is caring, knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. I'm very grateful to have her as my PCP. (She's also funny and makes me laugh.)
