About

Dr. May-Lin Wilgus is an Associate Clinical Professor at UCLA. Born and raised in Texas, Dr. Wilgus earned her bachelor's degree at UC Berkeley and her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She completed her training in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary/Critical Care at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, and then served on the faculty of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Immediately before joining UCLA in 2017, she spent 4 years providing care to the Ventura County community in private practice. At UCLA Health, she currently treats patients in Thousand Oaks and Westwood. She has a particular interest in COPD/emphysema, asthma, bronchiectasis, and the impact pulmonary conditions can have on women.

Dr. Wilgus is fantastic! Clearly extremely knowledgeable, explains things clearly, doesn't rush you and is just the nicest person! I feel very fortunate to live in an area that UCLA provides such excellent care!

Dr. Wilgus exemplifies excellence in all areas as a physician. Her clinical expertise is obvious- I feel very well taken care Pulmonology wise- but her kind and gentle manner of working with patients and above all, her obvious desire to listen closely and with focus( never “ rushing”) creates a positive and successful clinical visit experience.
