About

Dr. Methma Udawatta is a neurologist specializing in the care of individuals with multiple sclerosis and other neuroimmunological disorders. She holds a degree in neuroscience from Brown University and a medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She completed her neurology residency training at Mass General Brigham/Harvard Medical School and her Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology fellowship training at the University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Udawatta is passionate about women’s health, medical education and medical ethics. Her clinical and research interests include pregnancy and postpartum care in multiple sclerosis and improving access to high-quality neurological care for diverse patient populations. She is committed to a patient-centered, collaborative approach to neurology and strives to partner with her patients in managing their neuroimmunology conditions.
