About
Dr. El Kabany received his MB, BCh, from Cairo University School of Medicine in Egypt. He completed his fellowship in hepatology at the University of Southern California School of Medicine, where he received his clinical hepatology diploma. Dr. El Kabany is an associate professor in the departments of internal medicine and surgery and is board certified in internal medicine. He is active in many committees, including the Liver Transplant Executive Committee of the UCLA Division of Transplantation. He is also an active member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) and has been a primary investigator in a number of clinical trials. Dr. El Kabany is also a reviewer of the Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology.
