Peter S. Han, MD

Dr. Peter Han is a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and head and neck surgical oncologist. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Head and Neck Surgery at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and serves as Chief of Head and Neck Surgery at Olive View–UCLA Medical Center.

Dr. Han attended Pacific Union College on a full scholarship, earning a B.A. in Biology and a B.S. in Film and Television Production. He received his M.D. from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Loma Linda University. He subsequently completed fellowship training in Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at Loma Linda University, followed by a second fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at UCLA.

His clinical practice focuses on aesthetic and functional rhinoplasty, facial skin cancer reconstruction, microvascular head and neck reconstruction, facial trauma, and head and neck oncologic and endocrine surgery. Dr. Han’s approach to patient care emphasizes thoughtful surgical planning, natural-appearing results, and the preservation or restoration of function.

His academic interests include rhinoplasty biomechanics, outcomes in head and neck and endocrine surgery, reconstructive outcomes following head and neck cancer treatment, and aesthetic outcomes in head and neck surgery. He is actively involved in resident education and surgical training at UCLA and Olive View–UCLA Medical Center and serves as faculty advisor for the Head and Neck Surgery Interest Group at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine.

Dr. Han is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
