Dr. Richard Kim received his undergraduate degree at the Pennsylvania State University, and his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College. He is a board certified Family Medicine physician, and enjoys seeing patients from their teen years through senior adult. Dr. Kim sees the physician as a teacher, whose job it is to guide and encourage patients to learn, and make the best decisions for themselves, as personal autonomy is his fundamental guiding principle.

The team at UCLA Health are very warming make you feel very conformable during visits. From being greeted at the front desk to getting checked in with the nurse to my appointment with Dr. Kim, I always feels welcomed and heard. Dr. Kim has been my favourite doctor since coming to UCLA Health. He's always warm and friendly and definelty takes the time to listen and ask questions about my health and over all well being. I would recommend Dr. Kim to any of my friends and family.

Excellent front desk staff is always. I had three different nurses help me today and they were all fantastic. Dr. Kim as usual very personable very curious and interested in my life.
