About

Dr. Robert Yamane is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician at UCLA Health Goleta.  He previously saw patients at UCLA Health Calabasas and Motion Picture Television Fund, worked as a hospitalist in Ashland, OR, and was a physician in Conejo Valley/West Hills for over 20 years.

Dr. Yamane received his MD from UCLA, completed internship at UCLA/VA West LA, and residency at Cottage Hospital Santa Barbara.  He also has two degrees in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science (MS Stanford, BS UC Berkeley)

Dr. Yamane enjoys spending his free time with family and friends at the beach, and mountain biking.

Dr. Yamane was very thorough, & an excellent communicator. I truly appreciated how genuinely pleased he was to hear about all the positive improvements I’ve made with my health, & the wise recommendations going forward. Also, the entire staff was kind, considerate, & helpful.
