About

Dr. Robert Yamane is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician at UCLA Health Goleta.  He previously saw patients at UCLA Health Calabasas and Motion Picture Television Fund, worked as a hospitalist in Ashland, OR, and was a physician in Conejo Valley/West Hills for over 20 years.

Dr. Yamane received his MD from UCLA, completed internship at UCLA/VA West LA, and residency at Cottage Hospital Santa Barbara.  He also has two degrees in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science (MS Stanford, BS UC Berkeley)

Dr. Yamane enjoys spending his free time with family and friends at the beach, and mountain biking.

Dr. Yamane is very good responding to my concerns and is very pro active when explaining any lab results and concerned about referrals that take too long to get scheduled and looks for alternatives. Very glad I switched my primary doctor. I am much better informed about my conditions.
