About

Dr. Samer Ghostine is a Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at UCLA. He is a Board-Certified, Fellowship-trained Neurosurgeon that specializes in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery. Dr. Ghostine has special clinical expertise and interest in spinal stenosis, revision spine surgery, and Neuromodulation for low back pain management.

Dr. Ghostine earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, Washington, DC. Dr. Ghostine completed a surgical internship and neurosurgical residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center, Loma Linda, CA. He completed an intra-residency, and another postgraduate fellowship in  spine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Ghostine is fluent in English, Arabic, French, and is able to communicate in Spanish. Dr. Ghostine was a UC Riverside clinical professor and Vice-chair of neuroscience at the UC Riverside School of Medicine before joining our neurosurgical team at  UCLA. He served as the chief of neurosurgery and the director of neuroscience at Riverside Community Hospital (RCH). Dr. Ghostine practices in a state-of-the-art, safe and comfortable environment aiming at providing excellent, and innovative care.
