Dr. Shih-Fan Sun is a primary care physician who practices in Palos Verdes. His clinical interests include preventive medicine, routine healthcare for adults and the management of acute and chronic diseases.

Dr. Sun received his medical degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at UCLA. Prior to his medical training, he worked as an emergency medical technician in Torrance. He received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from UCLA, graduating cum laude.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Sun loves contributing to medical education by teaching medical students and taking global health trips to places including Belize and Mexico.

Dr. Sun is a South Bay local who graduated as valedictorian from West Torrance High School. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, trying different ethnic foods, watching sci-fi movies and animal documentaries, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
