Sohum C. Shah, MD

I am a maternal-fetal medicine physician at UCLA Health specializing in the care of patients with high-risk and medically complex pregnancies. I completed medical school and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine before completing my fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at UCLA.

My clinical and academic interests include placenta accreta spectrum, cardio-obstetrics, critical care, and obstetric hemorrhage prevention. I also have a strong interest in improving obstetric care through clinical informatics, quality improvement, simulation, and medical education. I value working collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide thoughtful, evidence-based, individualized care throughout pregnancy.
