About

Dr. Stephanie Young is a clinical neuropsychologist and licensed clinical psychologist. After completing her undergraduate studies in psychobiology at UCLA, she obtained her Masters of Public Health degree from the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. She graduated from these programs with multiple academic honors and leadership awards. Dr. Young obtained her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University, where she served as the program president and received the leadership and advocacy award upon graduation. She completed her internship training in clinical psychology and a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center, developing her specialization in adult and geriatric neuropsychological assessment.

Dr. Young is actively involved in the design and development of integrated behavioral healthcare within the UCLA Department of Medicine. She is particularly interested in building psychological services in the primary care setting. Her clinical interests include evidence-based approaches to assess and manage primary care patients presenting with co-existing medical and psychological/neurocognitive conditions. Dr. Young has significant experience teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and is dedicated to inter-professional practice and education at UCLA. She greatly enjoys teaching both psychology and medical trainees.
