Talia A Sojo, LMFT

Talia A. Sojo is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at UCLA Behavioral Health Associates. She received her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Throughout her 20-year career, Talia has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families in private practice, community mental health, and school settings.

Her specialties include anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, parenting, and family challenges. She is trained and certified in evidence-based practices such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Functional Family Therapy. In addition, she is trained in Incredible Years (IY), a preventative and intervention parenting group model. Talia has also provided direct parenting interventions such as Parent-Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT) and support through Seeking Safety, a women’s support and intervention model.

Talia’s therapeutic approach is compassionate, strength-based, culturally sensitive, and collaborative. Mrs. Sojo focuses on helping children and families build protective factors, increase coping skills, and resiliency to support mental health, wellness, and overall well-being.
