About
Dr. Tannaz Zahirpour is a family medicine physician who practices in Marina del Rey. She delivers comprehensive compassionate medical care. She is passionate about preventive medicine and patient education. Her goal is to get to know her patients on a more personal level where she can actively involve them in their medical treatment.
She has volunteered at numerous community events, has given lectures at senior centers and has organized health fairs. She has also published her work in Molecular Systematics, and has been recognized for her research on gender and ethno-cultural influences on pain.
Dr. Zahirpour received her Bachelor of Science in biology from UCLA and her Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. She then completed her family medicine residency at Northridge Family Medicine Residency Program (with UCLA affiliation).
When she's not working, Dr. Zahirpour enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and going to the beach.
