About
Dr. Surampudi is an associate professor of medicine at DGSOM and serves as a quality improvement officer for UCLA Health. She is the associate director of the UCLA Medical Weight Management Clinic and the co-creator of newly developed Adult Nutrition Support Services for Enteral, TPN Management, and Nutrition Oncology clinics for UCLA. She is a Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and a Physician Nutrition Specialist.
Currently, Dr. Surampudi's primary areas of practice are treatment and prevention of obesity and obesity-associated diseases, nutrition support and nutrition oncology.
Dr. Surampudi's clinical research interests are related to the management and treatment of obesity, and quality improvement projects related to nutrition support and nutrition oncology.
