Dr. Ghiassi knows me and knows my medical issues. This is the first part of the battle. She genuinely cares about my health and has a desire to see it improve (the second part of the battle). She is very knowledgable about causation and available treatments to address those specific causes - that said, she is measured and careful not to jump into a new treatment modality merely because it is available. She is a star on the rise in the field and will quickly get the reputation as a "go-to" doc - I hope that UCLA does what it takes to keep her in the fold

I was a little late to my appointment due to traffic, and Dr. Ghiasi was gracious enough to see me. She was very thorough in reviewing my history and explained my treatment options to me very clearly. She was attentive and promptly scheduled a follow-up. She also informed me that a clinic will be opening in Pasadena (which is closer to me) later this year which would be a good option to avoid the long drive over to Beverly Hills.
