All staff are exceptional at their jobs! Dr. Patel is outstanding in ensuring the disease model of care is consistent across all levels of my health (much improvement thanks to him) and is one of the only doctors in my lifetime of age 68, who is focused or provides consideration for minority health care in taking time to answer questions and also ensure provision of timely guidance (explaining lab results) and lab testings. He deserves a raise and an award for his performance!

Yesterday was a UCLAHEALTH scheduled appointment to follow up on my visit to the UCLA ER last Monday for injuries from a “hit & run” incident. The appointment had been automatically scheduled as a result of my ER visit. I cannot imagine having greater care than I received yesterday and always from UCLA. I’ve been hesitant about seeking medical help since early life near death surgeries. Since early 2024 my experience with UCLA has changed my life to be healthier and more positive.

Dr. Patel is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and considerate. I felt that he took his time rather than rushing out of the room, listened to me, and was not dismissive. I appreciated that he spoke to me respectfully and like I was intelligent. this is the best experience I have ever had with a doctor; he made me remember that doctors are supposed to help people.
