Yuichiro Hayashi, MD

Dr. Yuichiro Hayashi is a board certified anesthesiologist and pain management physician who practices in North Hollywood. His goal is to help patients dealing with pain increase their functionality and participate in activities that bring them fulfillment and joy. His philosophy in managing pain is to be comprehensive and to use a multimodal and multidisciplinary approach.

Dr. Hayashi was born in Japan and moved to the United States at the age of one. He was raised in Los Angeles, and after graduating high school, moved back to Japan to attend university in Tokyo, where he studied international business and economics and played collegiate soccer. After enduring multiple injuries on the soccer field, he decided to pursue a career in medicine, and transferred to the University of California, Irvine, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences. He then received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, and returned to Los Angeles to complete his anesthesiology residency and pain medicine fellowship at UCLA.

When he is not working, Dr. Hayashi enjoys running, hiking, skiing and playing tennis.
