Kick Butts 2019

Twice a year, EH&S staff and volunteers participate in "Kick-Butts Day at UCLA Health". During this event, participants collect cigarette butts from the grounds surrounding the Santa Monica and Ronald Reagan Medical Center properties.

Every year, the Chase Child Life Program organizes the celebration of Halloween at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, ensuring that all children in the hospital have an opportunity to particpate in Halloween fun.

UCLA Health Veterans Fair 2019

There are a wide variety of roles in the military where service personnel can leverage their experience and individual qualities to help us bring hope and healing to our patients and their families. American Heart Association Heart & Stroke Walk 2019

Hundreds of UCLA Health employees and families showed up for a heart-healthy stroll around the Rose Bowl in Pasadena to support the American Heart Association’s mission of fighting heart disease and stroke. UCLA Health's commitment to community outreach helped us surpass our goal of raising $90,000!

UCLA Health People Animal Connection

UCLA People-Animal Connection (PAC) is one of the most comprehensive Animal-Assisted Therapy and Activity programs in the nation. In 2018, PAC welcomed a Blue Moon, a miniature therapy horse as the first therapy animal other than a dog to visit Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in 24 years. The 28-inch tall mini-horse is the first miniature horse out of 75 dogs to be part of the People-Animal Connection program

Project SEARCH Graduation 2019

The UCLA Health Office of Environmental Health & Safety supports Project Search, a program for adults with developmental disabilities, coping with disorders that range from autism to intellectual disabilities. Participants are placed in specific jobs at the hospital to build their skills through a 12 month training program.
