Patient Room

Our sleep laboratory facility on the Westwood Campus is located within the Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC), in the Center of Health Sciences B-Level (previously the Emergency Room in CHS). The lab will house eleven tranquil single-patient accommodations.

The lab also provides pediatric-friendly accommodations and a shared lounge, including a modern and elegant space, for patients and families.

A nationally accredited program with more than half a century experience in diagnosing and managing sleep disturbances, the UCLA Sleep Disorders Center is a recognized leader and pacesetter in the clinical practice of sleep medicine and sleep research. The Center's highly trained and experienced staff includes physicians who are Board Certified in Sleep Medicine and Registered Polysomnographic Technologists, who are proficient in evaluating and diagnosing a range of sleep difficulties, and providing patient education. The team designs personalized treatment programs to manage a broad spectrum of sleep disorders in adults and children including obstructive sleep apnea; excessive daytime sleepiness; snoring; insomnia; restless legs syndrome; parasomnias; narcolepsy; shift work sleep disorder; jet lag syndrome and various other sleep problems.

The UCLA Sleep Disorders Laboratory contains 11 private bedrooms, and is equipped with modern equipment for digital polysomnography. Studies are performed 7 days per week. The laboratory also provides overnight home sleep apnea tests (HSAT) to diagnosis moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) for patients with a high risk of OSA. It is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.  The Laboratory is located at the Center for Health Sciences, 10833 LeConte Ave, Suite BE-216, Los Angeles CA 90095.
