About Me

Dr. Caspian Oliai is a medical oncologist and hematologist who practices in Westwood and downtown LA. He is Medical Director of the UCLA Bone Marrow Transplantation Stem Cell Processing Center. He specializes in hematologic malignancies, with expertise in acute leukemia, lymphoma, allogeneic stem cell transplantation, autologous stem cell transplantation, CAR T-cell therapy and benign hematologic conditions.

Dr. Oliai completed his internal medicine residency and hematology-oncology fellowship at UCLA. He earned a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Miami, a master's degree in biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Oliai is a clinical instructor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and is heavily involved in developing new cancer therapies. He has designed several investigator-initiated multicenter clinical trials in acute leukemia and CAR T-cell therapy, on which he serves as the Principal Investigator. His work has been published in a multitude of prominent medical journals.

Dr. Oliai is originally from Philadelphia and enjoys the outdoor lifestyle of California. When he's not working, he enjoys hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains and skiing in Mammoth.
