Training Opportunities
The UCLA Division of Cardiology offers world-class training to physician-scientists who are committed to academic careers through the two-year Specialty Training and Advanced Research (STAR) Program, an arm of the cardiology fellowship program. Fellows in the STAR Program receive both comprehensive clinical training and intensive research training that culminates in either a Masters of Clinical Research or a PhD.

Cardiology Fellowship Program
Additional sub-specialty training in Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Heart Failure and Transplantation, and Adult Congenital Heart Disease is also available and can also be combined with both clinical and STAR fellowship tracks.
