Research Presented at the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology 2026 annual meeting in Milan, Italy
Dr. Janinne Ortega-Montiel presented findings from our study, “Linkage of INVESTED Trial and Medicare Real-World Data (RWD): Validating RWD-Measured Variables, Optimizing Covariate Measurement Lookback Periods and Clinical Outcomes Captured in RWD beyond the Trial End Date”. This study, funded by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), evaluated the use of linked clinical trial and Medicare data to validate real-world measures and extend evidence beyond completion of the clinical trial.

Dr. Hanseul Cho presented findings from our study, “Comparative Effectiveness of SGLT2i, GLP-1RA, and DPP4i among Adults with Type 2 Diabetes at Low-to-Moderate Cardiovascular Risk: A Multi-Database Study from the US and the UK”. This study was funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).
