UCLA Health Management Programs share the unique skills and methods by which our leaders manage our organization every day and offer others the opportunity to observe and learn from our clinicians. These programs offer five different subject areas (people, service, quality, operations, finance/strategy). A clinical observation component can be added for physician and nursing leaders to round out their experience.
UCLA Health is partnering with renowned UCLA Anderson School of Management to ensure we provide both foundational and applicable skills in our courses. Founded in 1954, UCLA Anderson- Executive Education offers innovative learning solutions that focus on leadership, management and strategy for leading global organizations to meet their unique business objectives. The curriculum goal is to design a leadership development solution that embodies your organization’s culture, incorporates and propels the diligent talent management work that is already taking place, and creates a transformational development experience that continues long after.
The Executive Management Program provides healthcare executives the chance to learn best practices of hospital management and develop strategic skills for financial management and leadership.
The Clinician Development Program is an opportunity for medical professionals to combine clinical observation with an interactive lecture series covering a variety of organizational topics.
All programs are customizable and can be tailored to match the needs of any organization. In addition to the course content that will be provided in each area, participants will be given the option to pair up with a mentor from their technical work area, to ensure the curriculum can be applied to their organization.
