About

Dr. Lindsay Wells is an Associate Clinical Professor of the Health Sciences in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at UCLA. She grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana, completed her undergraduate training at Washington University in St. Louis, and received her medical degree from Indiana University. She completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at UCLA and joined the UCLA clinical faculty in 2012. Her own personal experiences, volunteer work, and global health work in Malawi and Kenya influenced her decision to enter primary care. Her primary focus includes patient empowerment, health literacy, and teaching on racism and other structural determinants of health's impacts on medicine and patient care. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.

My daughter had been complaining about ear pain. Dr wells carefully checked her, found a build up of ear wax, and assigned one of her team members to flush it out. She came back to reexamine her showing the upmost care.

We went over medications and previous diagnosis. She helped me find a pituitary adenoma that was presenting with symptoms that didn’t make sense. Her diligence and hard work helped me find my diagnosis and lead me to finding a better way to manage my symptoms and maybe even fix the issue
