Frequently IVC filters that have been in place develop either clot within the IVC and pelvic veins, or within the filter itself. The expert UCLA Interventional Radiology team at the IVC filter Clinic uses modern minimally invasive techniques to quickly, safely and completely remove these clots and restore flow. The majority of these techiniques and procedures are performed as single day cases, allowing the patient to return rapidly home and to their full activity. All are performed with keyhole endovascular techniques. Some procedures offered include:
