You Can Make a Difference: Donate to the UCLA Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)

The MICU is a state-of-the-art unit equipped to manage critical illness including (but not limited to) shock, sepsis, pneumonia, acute respiratory failure requiring mechanical ventilation, acute kidney injury possibly requiring hemodialysis, gastrointestinal bleed, complications of cancers, and severe metabolic abnormalities. Our physicians are board-certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Our nurses are critical care trained and dedicated to their profession, and are highly motivated to deliver the best possible care to our patients. Other members of our excellent team include respiratory therapists, pharmacists, physical & occupational therapists, dieticians, social workers and case managers.

Support from the community is integral to our ability to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care and improve outcomes for our patients and their families. It will also enable us to advance our educational and research efforts.

You are partners with us in this mission, and we are grateful for your thoughtful generosity.
