I first saw Dr. Rajan Saggar, a pulmonologist, in 2010 for follow up lung transplant care when I was making the transition from a pediatric hospital to adult care. I am so grateful that Dr. Saggar made the transition easy for me by listening to what I wanted and working with me instead of telling me what I had to do. He has always been concerned with my over all well being and, not just my lungs, because he cares about the quality of life of his patients. When you have a chronic illness, you often end up having to advocate for yourself and I'm so glad that is not the case for me. I can always count on Dr. Saggar to be in my corner.
