In addition to caring for hospitalized patients, the hospitalist team runs several programs and offers additional services, including the following:

Patient Care

  • Preoperative consultations
  • Perioperative care
  • Night triage support
  • Visits to patients in local nursing homes
  • Intermediate Care Unit service for patients in Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center
  • Gonda Observation Unit service for patients at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center who require a short hospital stay to monitor a specific symptom
  • Procedure service
