Our team of expert doctors and certified nurse midwives provides comprehensive yet personalized care to all women, for those with routine deliveries to those with high-risk pregnancies. Our multi-disciplinary team approach allows for the integration with specialists in maternal and fetal medicine, reproductive medicine, and other specialties, as needed.

This includes not only the short-term effects of pregnancy, labor, and birth on the pelvic floor, but we can also help evaluate and manage any potential long-lasting effects from childbirth. With our whole-person approach to care, the Maternal Outpatient Mental health Services (MOMS) Clinic was created to serve the mental health needs of women during the perinatal period. Based on a collaborative care model, the MOMS Clinic provides full psychiatric assessments to women in the OB-GYN setting as a way to minimize access to care issues during this vulnerable time. Patients will benefit from initiation of psychiatric care and provided with tailored resources from our interdisciplinary team led by Misty Richards, MD, MS, Medical Director of Perinatal Psychiatry, and Rashmi Rao, MD, Obstetric Medical Director of Mental Health.
