Bruin Beans Health Club will have its next recruiting cycle in Fall 2026! If you are interested in learning more, please look below for important dates regarding the application cycle.
Application Timeline
Information Session: An in-person info session will be hosted early in the application cycle. This event will allow applicants to learn more about the club and its members. Though this session is not mandatory, it is highly recommended that all interested applicants attend this session. The location and date of the information session will be posted here once available.
Applications: An online application must be submitted to the club before the deadline. Your applications will be reviewed carefully by our team, and we will determine whether to extend an invitation to the interview stage of the application process. The application form will open up early in Fall 2026.
Interviews: The dresscode for all interviews is business professional. If an invitation is extended, you must schedule a time slot through the email, or your spot may be forfeited. We will have several time slots available to accommodate different schedules. If there are no available time slots for you, let us know as soon as possible.
Onboarding: Accepted applicants will begin the onboarding process throughout Fall.

Who can apply?
Our program seeks students who have an interest in the field of healthcare and want to advance research, education, and community outreach. Our members are dedicated, creative and take initiative in participating and fostering the growth of our club. There is no GPA requirement and all current UCLA undergraduates are encouraged to apply. Students who are in another UCLA-approved shadowing program are not eligible.
What are the applicant expectations?
All members are required to complete 2 research shifts a week (4 hours per shift) as well as attend all meetings and outreach events.
