Day of Mindfulness: Working Mindfully with Judgments

Judgments—of ourselves and others—can be powerful forces in our inner and outer lives. They can shape how we see ourselves, influence our confidence, affect how we relate to others whom we know and don't know, and generally affect the quality of our relationships. Left unexamined, they can also limit how we show up and contribute in the world.

In this daylong retreat, we’ll explore the nature of judgment: what it is, how it arises, and what lies at its root. We can learn to find wisdom within judgments and reduce our reactivity to even transform them into compassion for ourselves and others.

The day will include both sitting and walking meditation, along with practical tools, guided meditations, inquiry, reflections, and group discussion.

Open to all levels.
