Finding our Footing: Integrative Approaches for Handling Stress in Difficult Times
with Dr. Elizabeth Ko, Claire Pichel, Julie Rowland, and Diana Winston, all from the Integrative Medicine Collaborative
Are you feeling stressed out, anxious, worried, angry, or overwhelmed by the uncertainty of global events? Join a physician, a social worker, a yoga therapist, and the director of UCLA Mindful to address these thorny issues and provide some helpful tools and usable information to work with our minds and bodies. In this interactive program, we’ll look at the psychological and biological implications of stress. Then we’ll practice yoga and meditation specifically designed to help us access ease and well-being in the face of challenging outer circumstances.
