Animesh Sabnis, MD, MSHS, MFA, is Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine.His professional interests include family-centered neonatal care, quality improvement, health equity, and health informatics.

At UCLA, he serves as the Director of Quality & Equity for the Division of Neonatology, Medical Director of UCLA Newborn Nurseries, and Medical Director of Neonatology Antenatal Counseling. Dr. Sabnis serves on the Ethics Committee and several UCLA Health committees focused on health equity and healthcare quality.

Dr. Sabnis studied biomedical ethics at Brown University, creative writing at Columbia University, medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, and healthpolicy and management at UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. He completed his post-graduate clinical training in pediatrics and neonatology at Northwestern University. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society
