Anita Tipirneni, MD

Dr. Anita Tipirneni is board certified in Neurology and has particular clinical interests in neurohospitalist care, stroke, and vascular malformations. She has specialized training in intracranial Doppler ultrasound, acute and chronic stroke management, and clinical research. She has advanced skills in Spanish and welcomes the opportunity to interact with Spanish speaking patients.

Dr. Anita Tipirneni completed a bachelor's degree in Neural Science and minored in Chemistry at New York University as an Honors Scholar. She earned her MD at the University at Buffalo, earning Research Honors and completing a fellowship at the National Institute of Health in clinical research. After completing her medical internship at University at Buffalo, she completed residency in Neurology at the University of Miami in a special research track. She then went on to complete both a clinical Vascular Neurology fellowship as well as a National Institute of Health StrokeNet research fellowship at UCLA.
