About
Dr. Brent Fogel is a Professor in the Departments of Neurology and Human Genetics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA where he serves as Director of the Neurogenetics Clinic and the UCLA Clinical Neurogenomics Research Center. He specializes in the diagnosis and care of patients with genetic neurological disorders including cerebellar ataxia & ataxia with oculomotor apraxia, spastic paraplegia, leukodystrophies, and many others.
Dr. Fogel also runs an active research program to identify rare and novel genetic causes of neurological disease and to understand how best to use genomic information and technologies to efficiently diagnose and to improve care and treatment of patients.
