I love dr. Firestone. This time I saw her post-stroke. She was very encouraging and assured me I?m doing great considering what I just went through. She gave me referral to a cardiologist so that I can get more thorough explanations of the details of some tests I underwent in the hospital and what it all meant plus how to develop a preventative methods and strengthen cardiovascular health. As fas as extra fat, the best way to get rid of it is to develop more muscle. I know this, but it?s good to be reminded about it by your doctor.

I am a very involved patient. I do a lot of research, attempt to provide accurate suggestions about problems I'm experiencing based on symptoms, track my progress when I make changes, and provide all that information to my PCP. Some have paid no attention to it. I no longer work with them. Dr. Firestone, however, seems pleased to review my input and does so before we meet for an appointment. It saves time and explanation and lets us focus on additional (rather than preliminary) analysis and on treatment options.
