Lucas R. Cusumano, MD, MPH

Dr. Lucas Cusumano is a specialist in vascular and interventional radiology at UCLA Medical Center. He also serves as Co-Director of the UCLA Center of Excellence in Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT). His clinical expertise and research interests focus on minimally invasive therapies for cancer and vascular disease, including treatments for liver and lung malignacies, benign prostatic hyperplasia, knee osteoarthritis, pulmonary arteriovenous malformations, and internal hemorrhoids.

Dr. Cusumano received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and earned a Master of Public Health from Imperial College London. He completed a General Surgery internship followed by an Interventional Radiology–Integrated residency at UCLA, where he subsequently joined the faculty in the Division of Interventional Radiology. He has received multiple awards, including Outstanding Young Faculty and Interventional Radiology Young Faculty Teacher of the Year.

Dr. Cusumano sees patients at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center, and the UCLA North Hollywood Imaging & Interventional Center.
