Maribel Gonzalez, LMFT

Maribel Gonzalez is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy at UCLA Behavioral Health Associates. She received her Masters of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mount Saint Mary’s University, Los Angeles. During her years of practice, Maribel has worked with children, teens, young adults, older adults, families, and couples in different settings including private practice, community mental health, and residential group homes.

Maribel’s specialties include anxiety disorders, depression, grief & loss, life transitions, parenting, and general relationship challenges. Maribel is trained in evidence based practices including Cognitive Behavioral health Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Her treatment interventions are tailored to meet the individualistic needs of her patients. Maribel’s goal is to teach her patients healthy skills they can use beyond the therapy session so they can manage life adversities and improve their mental health.
