Dr. Marjan Banooni is a primary care doctor at Bob Hope Health Center. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine. She received her medical degree from Wayne State University and completed family medicine residency from UCLA. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology with honors from Wayne State University.
Dr. Banooni has special interest in preventative medicine and believes empowering patients to take control of their health. She enjoys teaching her staff and helping her colleagues.
During her time off she enjoys traveling, exercising, spending time outdoors, shopping and spending time with family and friends.

Always have a great experience with Dr. Banooni. She takes her time and listens to the problem and always makes great suggestions and recommendations if she thinks you needs to see a specialist. A very kind, caring and patient doctor. such a hard job she does on a day-to-day basis to help her patients. 10 out of 10 always. Blessed to have her as my primary doctor. ☘️

"Beside Manner", There is an art to it. And Dr Banooni is an incredible artist where this is concerned. She listens, she laughs, she encourages health, she calms, and she cares. I have what is known as "white coat hypertension" and no other doctor has ever been able to bring it down. She used her magic and I left there with the same accurate low reading I get at home. That never happens. I have not been to a doctor in a long time because it is not an art anymore - it is not science either - it is all business and it all turns into one scary thing. Dr Banooni is able to stradle the forgotten art and the science of it all while also dealing with the business at the same time. I am relieved to find someone like her to be my primary care physician. Friends of mine who are her patients assured me that she was special. That is an understatement.
